Northwest Vermont REALTOR® Association and Spectrum Youth and Family Services
[Williston, VT, September, 20, 2023] – The Northwest Vermont REALTOR® Association (NVRA) kicked off its annual coat drive on September 14. This year, the “Share the Warmth” Drive seeks to collect warm winter gear of all types, especially high-quality hats, gloves, boots, and snowpants to benefit Spectrum Youth and Family Services. Donated items will be distributed by Spectrum at their Burlington at St. Albans locations.
“Last year, we collected 402 coats across the community for Spectrum. As the need for these items has increased this year, we hope to exceed that number with this year’s drive,” says NVRA Community Service Committee Chair, Lauren Gaffney Cohen.
The NVRA Coat Drive will be accepting donations of gently used or new winter gear from September 20 through October 31. Donated items should be in usable condition and free from stains, holes, or odors. All sizes are accepted.
