Your membership in the Northwest Vermont REALTOR® Association provides you with an array of cost saving benefits, and opportunities for networking and professional development. When you become a member of NVRA, you also become a member of the Vermont Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.

The term REALTOR® is a registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics. REALTOR® is a professional association. It is not a license type.

  1. You must be a licensed real estate agent to join NVRA. For information about licensing, contact the Vermont Real Estate Commission at (802) 828-3228, or visit their website here.
  2. You must join a local REALTOR® Association to become a member of the state and national REALTOR® Associations
  3. Brokers, agents and appraisers are eligible for REALTOR® membership.

We have several classes of membership, primarily REALTOR® membership, which serves real estate licensees Chittenden, Franklin and Grand Isle Counties. Our affiliate membership serves those individuals and companies who provide REALTOR® members with products and services that help them provide a superior quality of service to their customers and clients.

Member Benefits

Keeping pace with the ever-changing world of real estate and associated technology, we strive to bring pertinent information to our members through classes, special presentations, and resource materials.

With varied opportunities available on a monthly basis, we encourage members to join with others in their profession, as well as from related businesses, to receive the support and recognition they require and deserve to continue to excel in their professional endeavors.

NVRA reaches out to the community through ongoing service projects that allow members to make a difference in our hometowns.

NVRA is your source for news and information about the real estate industry. Through weekly digital communications, social networking, and the NVRA website, you can find the resources and information you need to succeed.

NVRA’s Leadership Development Program is a 6-month program aimed at developing tomorrow’s real estate leaders on a local, state and national level.

Following the established NAR guidelines, we work cooperatively with other local Boards to provide assistance to our members, their clients, and the general public in addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting greater understanding and professionalism.

NVRA promotes REALTOR® open houses through its weekly REALTOR® Open House digital news, emailed every Tuesday to all NVRA members.
