The Introduction to Commercial Real Estate class will provide practicing and commercial real estate professionals with a foundation in the field of commercial real estate. The one-day course will review the fundamentals of the asset classes in commercial real estate as well as defining markets and market analysis. The class will also equip students with the fundamental terminology and methodology for understanding commercial leases. We will then incorporate lease revenue calculations into calculating net operating income, discounted cash flow, and income capitalization using the cap rate.
