Two Important NVRA Updates

Two Important Updates from NVRA’s Board of Directors:

First – On November 12, 2024, the Board of Directors approved terms of a merge agreement to merge with the Addison County Board of REALTORS®. This merge will have several benefits:

  1. Increased education opportunities, streamlining of administrative processes.
  2. Expansion of community service and leadership networks, and above all,
  3. Strengthening of the REALTOR® voice across Northwest Vermont.

To move forward with the merger, NVRA members must hold a vote to approve the terms. At our Holiday Party, we will take a few minutes to hold a business meeting, but you can review the terms below. You can cast your ballot in person beginning Dec. 2 at the NVRA Office, Holiday Party, or online.

Second – Earlier in 2024, the Board of Directors considered the sale of the property located at 202 Commerce Street in Williston. As a result of these considerations, the Board voted to list the property for sale in 2025.

Changes that began as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic have influenced the way we gather. Simultaneously, the size and geographic locations of NVRA’s membership necessitates off-site events to accommodate as many members as possible. We have prepared a FAQ document outlining the reasoning and plans below.

As always, thank you for being an NVRA member! Registration for the Holiday Party will close on the 26th, so please remember to reserve your tickets now!

See you then!
