Applications Open for the NVRA Scholarship Fund

As of February 23, applications to the NVRA Member Scholarship Fund are open! The Board of Directors has created this initiative to support relevant professional development opportunities to NVRA REALTORS® and Affiliates, including regional conferences and courses, opportunities with the Vermont Association of REALTORS®, the National Association of REALTORS®. This program will help REALTORS® and Affiliates access high-quality professional development opportunities to enhance skills, knowledge, and leadership in the industry and cultivate future Association and community leaders.   
 
Application and Review Process: 
Members who wish to apply for scholarships should complete the online Application Form in its entirety. The Application will be reviewed with the Scholarship Committee at their monthly meeting. Funding decisions will be made according to standardized rubric and applicants will be notified via email.   
 
Funding Limits:  
  • REALTOR® Member – $500  
  • Affiliate Member – $250  
 
To Receive the Funds:  
The Scholarship will follow a reimbursement model. To receive reimbursement, the applicant must send the following within 10 business days of completion of the activity. A review form to upload the information will be provided at time of approval.  
  • Confirmation of event attendance (photos, materials, etc.)  
  • Receipts for registration fee, travel, or meal fees  
  • Review of the activity to be shared with NVRA Members   
 
Scholarship Funds cannot be used for any of the following:   
  • Dues payments to professional associations.  
  • Fees for NAR designations or certifications.   
  • Licensing Fees.  
  • Routine CE courses provided through online education providers (i.e. CE Shop, McKissock, etc.)  
  • Excessive Travel and Meals fees.
