Event details

Course Description
This workshop will enable REALTORS to assist shoreland property owners in making decisions about transactions and development on land adjacent to Vermont lakes. The Shoreland Protection Act, passed in 2014, established guidelines for the management of shoreland in order to protect water quality, aquatic habitat, and shoreline stability. This workshop highlights the Act’s requirements as well as the basis in natural science for the new rules. Research on erosion risk reduction, property value preservation, and water quality improvement as the result of revegetation of shoreland areas will be shared.

This class is being offered via ZOOM. Registrants MUST have a reliable camera and Internet to receive the credit. A link will be sent 24 hours before the class.
